Managing your OneDrive Drive

Here you will find information on how to access and backup files/documents on your OneDrive.

How to access and backup your files to OneDrive?

 

1. On the search bar, type OneDrive and open it.

 

2. Sign in using your OSD email. Then, choose Sign in.

3. On the next window, choose Next.

4. Select all the folders to back up (toggle the switch on the right hand side), then, choose Start backup.

NOTE:

The backup step may take a while, depending on the size of your folders.

Your Download files will not be backed up. Please move any files you want to save from the Download folder to either Document or Desktop.

 

Syncing Files and Verifying Files are Backup

 

1. Access the OneDrive settings by following the instructions below:

                                      

2. On the next window, choose Manage backup.

3. Make sure all the folder toggles are Blue. Then, choose Save changes.

To verify that files have been backed up, please open the File Explorer in the taskbar.

You will see the following icons under the Status section.
